Opal Glass or Milk Glass as it is known today, has been around since the 16th century and was known to originate from Venice. Other colours of Milk Glass consist of pink, blue, and yellow.
I absolutely love how the pieces can be different but all seem to blend together perfectly in creating such a delicate look!
The best part is-as a bride, you can virtually find pieces anywhere-from flea markets, antique shops to your nearest thrift or re-use store!
You can create diversity in your centerpieces by using different shapes, sizes or even colours!
Right now I am working on creating a gorgeous Easter Tablescape using Milk Glass for a brunch that we will be hosting next month for our family!
Here are some great pics I found that show off this lovely glassware:
What are your thoughts on using Milk Glass as part of your overall decor?
Have a fantastic day!

I love milk glass, I have a couple vases and they are perfect with some bright flowers, I use them in our bathrooms. I got both at Goodwill, each for less than $1. I could totally envision a beautiful spring or summer wedding, maybe a more casual outdoor countryside wedding and a long table filled with milk glass vases and pastel color blooms that create a line all the way down the table. So fun!
