Trend Alert: Pour Memoir Cards

Recently, while on my many ventures to my local book store, I came across a stunning book by Kimberly Schlegel Whitman called Tablescapes, Setting the table with style. In it, Kimberly points out the use of "Pour Memoir Cards" or "To Remind Cards".
This is a fantastic addition if you are planning a Royal affair, ultra formal event, or even an intimate dinner party.
Once you have received your confirmation that the guest(s) will be attending, you simply send the guest(s) a reminder as an added courtesy.
Wording can be as simple as:

A Reminder that

Mr. & Mrs. John Smith

are expecting

(Insert your Guests name here)

to join them for (insert event)

at (insert place, date and time)

Just one more added touch to make your guests feel special, and remind them how much you are looking forward to having their presence at your event.
