Playful Love

Remember when you were a kid, running around barefoot in the grass, making shapes from clouds, and playing with the neighbourhood kids until the streetlights came on?
Why not add that same carefree feeling and fun into your Wedding day?
Here are some of my most favourite childhood things, that would be so cute to incorporate into your day!

Bubbles
Okay so this one has been around for a while, but is still fun and captures so well in photos! Who doesn't enjoy blowing bubbles? Get your guests back in touch with this childhood pastime. Even old Aunt Gertie will have a blast with bubbles!
Sidewalk Chalk
As I walk about the neighbourhood this time of year, the sidewalk is always decorated with cheerful pictures of flowers, and faces, and messages of spring.
What a great way to decorate an outdoor aisle? Or chalk a "love hopscotch"!
Each guest can sign a message, or hire someone who is an artist in this department-what a way to wow your guests, and add a uniquely colourful palette to your day!
Marbles
How cute would these be as favours? I used to love having recess at school, all gathered in the playground playing marble games-such childhood memories!
Coordinate them with your wedding colours, or even use them in your centerpiece vases!
Bicycles
A fond memory of my childhood, was my bicycle (it was a pink sweetheart bike, complete with handlebar ribbons, and a bell).
This would make for such a cute departure with the "Just Married" sign on the back, or even a bicycle built for two.

Whatever you recall as part of your childhood, don't be afraid to add it into your day-what games or activities could you do?

Have a joyous day!
