5 Cool Winter Beauty Tips To keep you Looking Hot!

Since we are now in the deep freeze of winter, I thought this would be a great opportunity to share some helpful winter beauty tips for keeping you looking your best throughout these harsh months. Keep in mind that just because your wedding might take place in the spring or summer, doesn't mean you can be a "hibernating bride-to-be" during the winter months! Here are 5 way to ensure you still look your best and remain unscathed by winter's bitter blast!

Pucker Your Clucker!
Make sure you keep your kisser moisturized with a heavy duty lip balm or chapstick-the cold wreaks havoc on our poor pouts, so keep them protected.

Healthy Hands
With winter comes the nasty flu season, frequent hand washing and sanitizing can quickly dry out our hands and make nails brittle and more susceptible to breaking. Keep a tube of moisturizer nearby and wear gloves when venturing outdoors. If you have severe dry hands, try lathering on the moisturizer at bedtime, and put on a pair of cotton gloves overnight-in the morning they'll be silky smooth!

Keep that Glow
Keep your face glowing by using a good moisturizer with an SPF-yes there are still UVA and UVB rays to guard from even in the winter time! During the colder months, it's also a great idea to squeeze in a few more facials to slough off the dead skin, revitalize tired skin and reveal the fresher you!

Scale back on the styling
Hair dryers, straightners, curlers, irons, dyes, sprays, gels, etc-No wonder our hair freaks out and fizzles during the winter months! Ease up on the styling products and let your hair air-dry whenever possible, ease up on the product, and use a deep conditioner to keep shine and moisture in. Keep those locks gorgeous and not looking grungy.

Stay Hydrated
Same as in the summer months, the winter months, with the dryness, and cold, can rob us of our hydration. Even doing activities outdoors, or staying indoors with the heat on-you can always get in that drink of water or two! Try a warm up of hot water and lemon, or a decaffeinated herbal tea (my personal favs are Earl Grey or Rooibos tea-great to get the chill out of my bones before my long winter's nap:) Take it with you in a thermos or carry mug!

Come Summer you'll still be looking radiant, and no one will be able to tell you battled the blizzards while looking your best!
